note: location is santiago, chile

this morning i met with the vice chancellor of universidad de santiago. he was a friendly guy and was surprised when i told him that there does not seem to be much innovation here….of course when i asked him to name an innovative company, he couldn’t. either way, he’s going to pass on my resume to some people in the university, and i’ll probably have some more meetings next week.

i also looked for the aduana in santiago but failed. instead, i ended up at a produce street market….offering fruit and veggies at about half the price of the supermarket….i got a bunch of bananas, a kilo of kiwis, a pair of paltas (avocados) and two tomatoes for $1.25…and check out that alliteration! (pic….i wonder if i could get 30 eggs for 3,000 pesos?)
