{"id":687,"date":"2009-09-04T20:50:55","date_gmt":"2009-09-04T20:50:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sentradiaries.com\/blog\/?p=687"},"modified":"2014-05-20T20:51:41","modified_gmt":"2014-05-20T20:51:41","slug":"160067","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sentradiaries.com\/blog\/160067\/","title":{"rendered":"160067"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>note: location is santiago, chile<\/p>\n<p>this morning i met with the vice chancellor of universidad de santiago. he was a friendly guy and was surprised when i told him that there does not seem to be much innovation here&#8230;.of course when i asked him to name an innovative company, he couldn&#8217;t. either way, he&#8217;s going to pass on my resume to some people in the university, and i&#8217;ll probably have some more meetings next week.<\/p>\n<p>i also looked for the aduana in santiago but failed. instead, i ended up at a produce street market&#8230;.offering fruit and veggies at about half the price of the supermarket&#8230;.i got a bunch of bananas, a kilo of kiwis, a pair of paltas (avocados) and two tomatoes for $1.25&#8230;and check out that alliteration!
