{"id":283,"date":"2009-06-16T06:22:25","date_gmt":"2009-06-16T06:22:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sentradiaries.com\/blog\/?p=283"},"modified":"2014-05-20T06:23:42","modified_gmt":"2014-05-20T06:23:42","slug":"152612","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sentradiaries.com\/blog\/152612\/","title":{"rendered":"152612"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>note:gps is slightly off<br \/>\ntoday was probably the worst day of the trip so far:<br \/>\n1) patrik took off back to work<br \/>\n2) i woke up feeling pretty sick (i&#8217;m feeling better now&#8230;.not 100%)<br \/>\n3) without an exper navigator, i got lost driving in managua and took a slightly longer road down to rivas. that might have been a good thing (see below)<br \/>\n4) &#8230;it finally happened, the police bribe&#8230;.well, rather, bribes. in-between masaya and the airport, we were stopped twice by the police checkpoints. the first time, the yellow-vested thieves told me that i didnt turn with my signal (i didnt&#8230;.but in a country where a turn signal is a luxury, what do you want?). i paid him $20.
